I want to make a power point presentation and do not know much about software. I do not have powerpoint on my windows xp. I am at my brothers and noticed he has Microsoft Office xp professional it says version 2002 and has 2 cd's in it and tehn he has another case that says Microsoft Office Publisher 2003. will any of the 2 work to download powerpoint on my computer? what is the difference even if they wont work I am curious? thank you!

I believe the first CD, not the publisher one, should contain it. after you enter the serial number, you will be prompted as what you would like to install. Check "custom" then check powerpoint if ou would like only that.

Microsoft Office is what you're looking for. It's a productivity suite that includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. As you've already stated, you'll be using Powerpoint for your slide show.

Publisher is one single program that makes things like flyers, newsletters, greeting cards, and so on.

Microsoft Office Professional (if i recall) includes Word, Powerpoint, Publisher, Outlook and Access.

No publisher is for invitations and posters. You need office 2003, Office 2007, or the stand alone power point to do slideshows

Office XP Pro is better than Office Publisher. Publisher is just one of the tools in Office, and it's not PowerPoint.

Microsoft Office XP contains PowerPoint and Publisher along with other software. Publisher is what it says – just MS Publisher. use the Office XP disc.

Office is a suite of programs while Publisher is 1 program.
You cannot install from his disks because XP products only allow 1 licensed install. it may let you use it for 30 days but then will stop unless you buy your own license.

Microsoft Office Professional is a suite of software. it contains a colleciton of tools. Microsoft Publisher is an individual program that does page layout. for example, brochures and greeting cards.

MS Office Pro includes PowerPoint as one of the tools, so it's probably what you're looking for…

Yah, I just bought some Missions for my wife, you gotta take them to a pro shop at your local rink or whatever. you cant just put them in your oven at home, unless you like throwing money away. my CCM Vectors were the same way, we both did it at the same joint.

My mom has an older computer, running Windows ME. I have tried to re-install ME several times but it always causes errors after a re-install. I want to wipe the hard disk clean, then install Windows ME onto a clean hard disk. unfortunately, I've forgotten how to do it. can anyone help me with this? I want to remove EVERYTHING from that hard disk, but Windows ME doesn't let me. what do I do?

Cannot remember myself, but if you can boot off the CDROM like with Win98, you can FORMAT the hard first, which is what it sounds like you need to do.

If not on the Boot and format. Grab a Floppy, toss it in the drive and make a Windows Boot disk, should have Format on it and you can boot from it.

Then reboot and go thru the install process.

Ok, first off to eliminate wrong answers, I am a horror movie fan, so I know the film is not The Haunting or House on Haunted Hill etc.

here is the info I can remember:
– most likely made in the 80's, maybe the 70's

– definately was in color not B/W

– This used to air on HBO during the day, I remember watching it all the time on summer vacation so, with that being said it had to be PG or PG13.

– It was a haunted house movie.

– I remember people showing up during bad weather and all staying at the house. there were ghost sitings and people were dying off. there was a scene where the group was trying to get into the attic but had some difficulty doing so. they eventually do and they find odd things such as a rocking horse that they think was moving and a small wooden baby cradle with a doll in it. once the doll was moved by someone it had maggots coming out. there was also a scene where a woman was washing her face in a sink and something forced her face in the scolding water cause skin to fall off. the end of the film had a scene were a woman was being chased and she found a tunnel behind a bookshelf and started running at the end she saw all the people that were killed hanging out in a den and it was finally revealed that the whole thing was a joke, kind of like it was set up to be like one of the murder mystery nights that people pay to do, however she wasnt told about it.
